BLACK EMERY BUFFING COMPOUND – BRICK

Benchmark Abrasives Black Emery Buffing Compound are MADE IN USA. They are the most aggressive compound we offer.  It is the first step in in finishing distressed metals. Used for coarse buffing to remove scratches, rust, corrosion or to de-burr stainless steel and other hard metals.  This black emery buffing compound bar is ideal to buff contaminants prior to finishing. It is an extremely fast cutting material and is also called emery cake.

Buffing Compounds can be used for smoothing and shining metals, plastic, wood, and other materials. These compounds are made by a mixture of fine abrasive fillers and a sort of greasy wax. We have different colors of Buffing Compounds for coloring, creating luster polishing, and more. A high-quality buffing compound rids your vehicle of scratches and minor flaws. The buffing compound is used for finishing various applications such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastic, and wood. It helps remove a small paint layer to get rid of minor cracks.

Safety Tips/techniques:

• Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.  Keep all guards in place on your machine.
