Stainless Steel & White Metals 3-Step Buffing Kit For Angle Grinder

Included in this kit:

4-1/2″ Felt Flap Disc x 3

Black Emery Compound (first step) x 1

Gray Stainless (second step) x 1

Emerald Green Compound (third step) x 1

STEPS:

First step – Use the black emery compound to remove scratches

Second Step – Use the gray stainless compound for a natural luster finish.

Third Step – Use the emerald green compound for a high luster finish.

The stainless steel and white metal 3 step kit is suitable for a wide range of uses, however we suggest sticking to Stainless Steel and other white metals.

Safety Tips/techniques:

• Only use one buffing wheel per compound type to eliminate cross contamination between compounds.  We suggest marking each buffing wheel with a marking pen for easy reference.

• Bring the compound to a spinning buffing wheel to melt the compound onto the buffing wheel.  Friction will melt the compound onto the buffing wheel surface.  Make sure not to overload the buffing wheel.

• Ensure the work piece is held firmly in place before bringing the buffing wheel to the material.  Apply light pressure, let the wheel and compound do the work.

• When removing the buffing wheel from the material, remove at a slanting downward stroke to blend buffing marks and avoid unintended spotty or streaking results.

• Never allow the edge the of the buffing wheel make contact with the edge of your work; this can result in the machine being ripped from your hands or damage to the buffing wheel.  

• Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.  Keep all guards in place on your machine.
