Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) Circular Saw Blade allows you to cut faster and smoother, which makes this blade an excellent option for hardwoods, softwoods, and plywood. Safety Tips/techniques:
- Do not cut Metal with these blades, they are engineered for wood applications ONLY.
- NEVER run the blade on a saw that is rated higher than the MAX RPM stated on the blade
- Running your blade on a higher RPM saw is not only dangerous, but it will also reduce the lie of the blade significantly.
- Blades with fewer teeth tend to provide a faster cut with a less finished edge. For finer finishes choose blades with more overall teeth count.
- Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection. Keep all guards in place on your machine.
