Benchmark Abrasives 4-1/2″ x 7/8″ Surface Conditioning Flap Disc Type 27 (Flat Face)combine the ease and maneuverability of a flap disc with the material and finish of a surface conditioning disc. The best of both worlds! We offer them in three different grits/colors for blending, deburring, and cleaning. These discs are made with the highest quality non-woven, open nylon webbing, filled with premium abrasive grains (Equivalent to 3M™ Scotch-Brite™). These discs are perfect for cleaning, finishing, and deburring contoured or irregular surfaces.

These flap discs are Type 27 (flat face), perfect for grinding flat surfaces and outside edges. They are made with premium, Italian Bibielle surface conditioning material. These surface conditioning flap discs are great for blending, polishing, finishing, deburring, deflashing, light grinding, and more. This flap disc produces a brushed or lightly grained finish, especially suitable for stainless steel applications. It can be used from aggressive stock removal to surface blending and allows aggressive edge grinding.
